Work across 4 London Boroughs

A group of 4 Local Authorities share an EDT service and the are currently looking for a Senior Practitioner to join the service to work out of normal hours.

Highlights:

  • Work out of hours between 16:30 - 09:30, weekends and bank holiday on a rota basis
  • Will have the opportunity to be home based dependant on location
  • The service specifically deals with concerns relating to Children across the 4 Local Authorities
  • Due to the nature of the shifts this could be an ideal opportunity for those candidate with additional commitments
  • Will have access to a range of training and development material from internal and external providers
  • Will also have access to a training budget which you will be able to use in order to attend courses
  • Work closely with emergency services

    • This is an excellent opportunity for experienced practitioners who are looking for a greater degree of flexibility due to prior commitments as the post will require you to work evening and nights. Furthermore the post will offer you the opportunity to be home based, only reporting to issues as they arise.

    As a Senior Practitioner you will also be required to deputise for the Team Manager on occasions, but will have the support of the wider team. This service is a joint service between 4 Local Authorities which are situated in the same area.

    To be considered for this post you should have extensive experience within a front line team.
