One Post-doctoral scholarship is available within the scope of a Thematic Project entitled Studies on the activation mechanisms of MMP-2 and ADAM17: identification of regulatory proteins, oxidant production pathways, epigenetics and proteolytic targets, funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and hosted by the University of São Paulo's Ribeirão Preto Dental School (FORP-USP), Brazil. Applications are opened until September 30th, 2019 and the fellowship will start on November 1st, 2019. The fellowship will have the duration for one year; the selected candidate will conduct related studies in Campinas at the Brazilian Biosciences National Laboratory (LNBIO) linked to the National Energy and Materials Research Center (CNPEM).

The selected candidate must have a PhD degree in biology area, good background in proteomics and mass spectrometry, besides experience in molecular and cellular biology and biochemical assays. The candidate must have experience in proteomics data analysis, including building signaling networks and retrieving data from public databases.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
